School starts at 9.00am each day.  Children should arrive in good time, but no earlier than 8.45am. The bell is rung at 8.55am to signal the time for parents to leave and children to settle, ready for the school day. All infant children should be brought all the way up School Lane. Parents are very welcome to come into school for the morning drop off. When they arrive children can select toys to play with or choose from a range of activities available. If you are anxious about leaving your child, please feel you can phone Hayley, the school secretary, at any time to check they have settled and are happy.

The school day finishes at 3.30pm and parents of infant children wait outside at the front for them to be brought out. We only release children to a known adult that we are expecting, so please make sure you keep us informed should anybody other than the parents be collecting your child. If your child is not picked up for any reason we will keep them safe in the classroom until you arrive.

It is really important that we keep School Lane as safe as we can as the junior children often walk up to school on their own. Therefore we ask that cars are left in the village, please park responsibly as villagers have been frustrated in the past by having their drives blocked. We also request that children don’t cycle down School Lane as it’s so steep they can find it hard to slow down for pedestrians.
